Legrand to Display its Latest Wattstopper and Solarfective Solutions at LightShow West 2017

Legrand, North & Central America will be displaying its latest solutions in Human Centric Lighting (HCL), Digital Lighting Management (DLM), Architectural Dimming, and commercial shading from brands Wattstopper and Solarfective at Booth #542. In addition, Legrand lighting control experts Charles Knuffke and Shannon Markey will be presenting on the topics of the Title 24 energy code’s mandatory lighting and power control requirements and specifying occupant friendly lighting control systems.

Legrand products on display highlight the breadth of customizable and integrated solutions that are easy to specify and enable simple and seamless management of natural and artificial light:

  • The integration of Human Centric Lighting solutions with Wattstopper DLM (including DLM wireless projects) and Architectural Dimming platforms takes the complexity out of tunable lighting projects with an integrated, turnkey solution for advanced lighting systems that are easy to design, install, and control. The combination of advanced tunable LED light engines and accompanying color control switches (DLM Color Control Preset Switch and DLM Color Control Schedule Switch) ensures simple and intuitive control. For DMX control of fixtures enabled with the Lumenetix® araya5® LED light engines, the Equinox line of touchscreens and mobile app offer precise control of HCL and full color lighting.
  • A new wireless networking solution for DLM features a Wireless Network Bridge and Border Router that allows contractors to network DLM rooms together without the need for Segment Network Wire (MS/TP), simplifying room-to-room connectivity and installation, and eliminating potential start-up delays caused by wiring issues. Most importantly, it uses advanced security measures, and implements an independent network protected by AES 128-bit encryption that is separate from the customer’s IT network.
  • Solarfective commercial shading systems integrate seamlessly with Wattstopper’s Architectural Dimming platform ensuring commissioning is done quickly and easily, providing greater efficiency and time savings to projects. The combination of a wide selection of performance fabrics with proven controls technology make Solarfective systems easy to specify. Shading systems can be customized for oversized applications, unique skylights, and light shelves.
