Lennox expands Raider light commercial rooftop unit

DALLAS – Lennox has expanded its light commercial Raider® rooftop unit line to include new 7.5- to 12.5-ton models, adding to its existing offering of 3- to 5-ton units. Designed for compatibility with many replacement installations, Raider units are built to fit the most popular curb sizes virtually eliminating the need for an adaptor curb on many replacement jobs. Available in gas/electric and electric/electric models, 3- to 12.5-ton units offer efficiency levels of up to 13 SEER, 11.5 EER and 13.2 IEER.

The Raider unit also offers many design features created to simplify the installation process and help contractors save time and money on the job. With an optional MSAV® supply fan that optimizes energy efficiency by matching fan speed with compressor demand, users can see a further increase in utility savings. A field- or factory-installed BACnet® option—the industry’s leading protocol—offers seamless integration with building automation systems. With a simple to use plug-and-play format, BACnet helps customers save time and money on installation and service by eliminating the need for expensive tools.

“Lennox’ Rapid Replacement program offers customers a dedicated hotline to order replacement equipment in any emergency,” said Eddie Chavez, Rooftop Unit Product Manager, Lennox Commercial. “Customers are connected with a local Lennox representative in their area to assist them with their needs. Through Lennox’s extensive distribution network and Lennox PartsPlus® stores emergency replacement equipment can be delivered to 98 percent of North American in 48 hours or less.”

In addition to the hotline (877-792-0024) customers can register for the Rapid Replacement Rewards program to earn cash rewards on their purchases. Customers receive a Lennox-branded cash card that is loaded each Friday with their rewards. Orders must be placed through the Rapid Replacement hotline or Commercial Quick Quote to earn rewards. Promotions change on a quarterly basis and for the month of April customers will receive $75 per rooftop unit.
