Logansport Memorial Hospital has signed a non-binding letter of intent to pursue an affiliation with Fort Wayne-based Parkview Health. The two not-for profits share a commitment to maintaining access to local and affordable healthcare. An affiliation would allow for expanded services in Cass County and north central Indiana and support the hospital’s financial stability.  

An initial due diligence period is currently underway and is expected to be complete in March. During this time, Logansport Memorial will work closely with Parkview to review all aspects of their operations. A public hearing will also be held to solicit community feedback. Additional information about the public hearing will be shared when available. 

Concurrent to this work, the hospital is also planning a series of events to celebrate its 100-year anniversary this spring, including an open house for current and former employees.
