With a possible second wave of COVID-19 coming that could coincide with flu season this fall, Canadian hospital officials are warning it will take more field hospitals and hotel rooms for patients as well as a renewed effort to make home care more effective, according to an article on the Ottawa Citizen website.
The Ontario Hospital Association also called for the Ontario government to give clearer advice about when people should wear masks to slow or prevent a possible second wave of COVID-19.
Many health officials have expressed concern that the Ontario government hasn’t made masks mandatory when physical distancing is not possible.
