MaxLite LED Square Canopy offers energy efficiency in compact design for parking garage installations

Delivering high-performance optics in a sleek new design, MaxLite presents the LED Parking Garage Square Canopy as long-lasting, energy-efficient lighting for commercial and municipal parking applications.

Listed by DesignLights Consortium (DLC) and eligible for utility rebates, the Square Canopy consumes 80 percent less energy than the conventional 250-watt metal halide luminaires it is designed to replace and operates far longer, with a lumen maintenance rating of 50,000 hours at L70 standards. With a depth of approximately 3 ½ inches, the Square Canopy is the perfect choice for illuminating parking decks, stairwells and other low-bay installations where high quality security illumination is required. The luminaire features an advanced LED optic system specifically designed to provide robust light with excellent uniformity at low mounting heights.

Offered in versions compatible with 120-277V and 347-480V circuits, the canopy delivers 4,500 lumens of crisp, bright light while consuming just 45 watts. The canopy can be combined with an optional microwave-based occupancy sensor for additional energy savings. A superior thermal management system enables the luminaire to operate in a wide ambient temperature range of minus 40 degrees to 113 degrees Fahrenheit.

“The Square Canopy provides the most advanced LED technology in a uniquely compact design that enables facilities to improve security, save energy and reduce maintenance costs while upgrading the appearance of parking areas,” said Associate Product Manager Amro El-Adle. “The canopy’s rugged construction and excellent heat sinking properties ensure years of reliable performance in locations where safety and visibility are critical for motorists and pedestrians.”

Designed for easy installation, the Square Canopy features an adapter plate that mounts to standard junction boxes. The luminaire can also be pendant mounted. The Square Canopy is IP66 rated and listed for use in wet locations. It is supported by MaxLite’s five-year warranty and lifetime product support.
