MaxLite appoints vice president of operations


WEST CALDWELL, N.J. – MaxLite, a global manufacturing and marketing leader of energy-efficient lighting solutions, announces the appointment of Paul Shaskan as vice president of operations. 

In this newly created position, Shaskan will oversee the expansion of assembly and production lines at the company’s West Caldwell headquarters and new facility in Anaheim, California, as well as manage global operations, including logistics, quality control and warranty service, at MaxLite offices in China and Korea.  Shaskan will report to MaxLite General Manager Todd Kim.

“Paul’s extensive lighting industry experience, and impressive track record of optimizing production and assembly operations, will be tremendous assets during this exciting period of growth for MaxLite,” said President and CEO Yon Sung. “We are pleased to welcome Paul on board. Prior to joining MaxLite, Shaskan was vice president of operations at Amerlux and director of operations at Zumbotel Lighting. He previously held positions in engineering and production management at PortaSystems and Breed Technologies. Shaskan earned a B.A. in mechanical engineering from Union College and is a graduate of the Columbia Business School Senior Executive Program.
