UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay in San Francisco is the nation’s first project of its size - a 289-bed, 878,000-square-foot complex is home to women’s, children’s and cancer specialty hospitals, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website. The campus includes the 183-bed Benioff Children’s Hospital, the Betty Irene Moore Women’s Hospital and the 70-bed Bakar Cancer Hospital for adults and the adjoining Ron Conway Family Gateway Medical Building.
