OMNOVA Solutions announces price increases in specialty chemicals


FAIRLAWN, OHIO – OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Ingredients business today announced prices increases of up to $0.04 per wet pound on vinyl acetate and vinyl acrylic-based emulsion polymers. This increase is effective August 1, 2014 for all global specialty markets. This action is necessitated by a global supply shortage of key raw materials and is in addition to all previously announced increases.
