Massachusetts medical center is one of many projects converting existing space

The new Winchester Hospital medical and outpatient center in Winchester, Mass., is located in a former office building that was converted for patient care services, according to an article on the Health Facilities Management website.

The new medical center is one of many projects converting existing space recently.

The renovation included upgrades to the lobby, common and tenant areas, including new finishes, lighting and electrical service. Mechanical systems designed for medical use and a stretcher-sized elevator were installed.

The Winchester Hospital Breast Care Center; the Center for Healthy Living; imaging services, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray and fluoroscopy; and a laboratory were all included in the new facility.
