An investigation has been launched surrounding the incident at the Weston General Hospital in the U.K.


An investigation has been launched surrounding an incident at the Weston General Hospital in the U.K. in which a patient fell from healthcare facility window, according to an article on the Somerset Live website.

The patient in North Somerset, England, managed to remove a safety grill from a window and fell out.

"We took immediate action and have checked the safety restrictors on all of our windows," a hospital spokesperson said.

"A full investigation is now underway, but we won't be in a position to comment further until this investigation is completed."
