A lung cancer patient recovering from surgery claims her hospital bed was so filthy she was forced to sleep in a chair for three nights, according to an article on the Express website.
Patient said her bed frame was mottled with black dust and stains which she took to be blood.
Although she asked staff to “give it a good wipe,” the 64-year-old claimed nobody came to help and eventually she tried to clean it herself with toilet paper.
The woman alleged the room was “horrific” with bloodstained swabs and bandages under beds, stains on the walls and blocked toilets.
