Woman shoots, kills herself at Florida hospital


A woman fatally shot herself while being treated Sunday at Viera Hospital in Viera, Fla., according to an article on the Click Orlando website.

The woman was admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit, bypassing the healthcare facility's security screening processes.

The next day, she took out a gun that she brought to the hospital and killed herself.

The hospital is implementing additional security screening procedures for patients who are admitted via ambulance.
