Piping Systems adds 30-year electrical vet to growing team

Piping Systems, Inc. (PSI), a leading mechanical contractor and piping solutions provider in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, has recently hired master electrician Victor Silva to serve as their electrical and millwright technician.

With the recent addition of electrical and millwright capabilities to Piping Systems’ services, Silva will be responsible for helping clients with process machinery – from rigging and troubleshooting to helping with equipment changes and new equipment that is brought into their facilities.

“We’re excited to have Victor join our team,” said Pauline Lally, owner of Piping Systems. “He has so much experience and will add a lot of value to what we can offer new and existing customers. He just adds another element to our ability to be a complete solutions provider for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. For instance, because he's a master electrician, our clients don’t have to separately arrange for a fire alarm technician to come on site when we do our water flow testing – which really adds a great amount of customer convenience to our current fire protection testing services.”

Silva has more than 30 years of electrical experience and holds a Master and Journeyman’s Electrical license in Massachusetts and a Journeyman’s license in Rhode Island. In addition to his extensive electrical experience, Silva also has more than 15 years’ experience as a millwright.

“This is a great opportunity for me,” said Silva. “I have a few friends that work here and they kept asking me to join up. They really enjoy working here so I decided to reach out and talk with Pauline. That really sealed the deal for me. This is such a customer-centric organization, which is what particularly attracted me because I’m always keeping the customer at the forefront in my work. Pauline has so much experience and understands what it means to keep your customers happy. She’s put together a great team and I’m just glad I can be a part of it.”
