Princeton Community Hospital Association Joins WVU Health System

The letter of intent was signed in 2021.

The city of Princeton and the board of directors of the Princeton Community Hospital (PCH) Association in West Virginia approved a definitive agreement with the WVU Health System, clearing the way for PCH to become fully integrated into the System.

PCH entered into a management agreement and clinical affiliation with WVU Hospitals in December 2020, and in October 2021, a letter of intent was signed by all parties for the WVU Health System to become the sole member of PCH.

President and CEO of the WVU Health System Albert L. Wright, Jr., attended the PCH board meeting when the definitive agreement was approved. Wright and the board also reviewed a 10-year master facility plan that mapped out the future for the hospital and opportunities to expand services in the community.
