Quantum Secure certifies SAFE with AMAG Technology's Symmetry security management system

AMAG Technology, a leading provider of access control, video management and end-to-end security management solutions, is pleased to announce that long time partner, Quantum Secure, part of HID Global, has integrated its Physical Identity and Access Management System, SAFE v4.9 with the latest version of AMAG’s Symmetry access control software.  AMAG Technology and Quantum Secure cooperatively tested and certified this integration.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Quantum Secure, and offer first-rate product integrations to our customers,” said AMAG Technology, Symmetry Partner Program Manager, David Ella.

SAFE Physical Identity and Access Management infuses industry best-practice processes to streamline access request and approval processes across multiple types of people, user-access profiles and physical access systems, allowing users to create business policies/rules and workflows using graphical “drag and drop” functionality, without any programming knowledge.  As a result, security managers can deploy proven best practices using graphical whiteboards, enabling diverse physical security systems worldwide to conform to consistent corporate policies.

An integration between SAFE and Symmetry access control offers many benefits to end users such as:

Bi-directional cardholder synchronization

Bi-directional access code adds and deletes

Automatic active/inactive cardholder updates

Simple, intuitive configuration and user experience

This is one of the first products to be certified as a member of AMAG's new Symmetry Partner Program. The program is growing rapidly to reflect the position of AMAG as a product of choice for larger and more complex access control projects.

Quantum Secure was founded in 2004 and provides solutions for managing identities and provisioning access in physical security infrastructure.
