Remodeled California healthcare facility a one-stop shop

Tehama County Health Services Agency building integrates clinic services

The renovated Tehama County (Calif.) Health Services Agency building integrates all clinic services, according to an article on the Daily News website.

The new clinical facility will offer outpatient medical care, behavioral health services, substance abuse treatment and public health services.

The building had 70 beds when it initially opened as a county hospital and had the first new wing added in 1954. In the 1960s, it served as a hospital for those in the county who could not afford private care and in 1966 transitioned to the Tehama County General Hospital and was an acute care facility,

The remodel project was about $3.5 to 4 million paid for through bond money from a certificate of participation as part of several projects approved at the same time.
