Mold has been found in "small spots" in a number of rooms at Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, Pa., according to an article on the Herald-Mail Media website.
The hospital reported that "small spots of mold" were found by remediation crews after removing drywall in an unspecified number of rooms.
The areas "are being appropriately cleaned and repaired, and will remain closed until air quality tests prove them safe," according to the hopsital.
Units close to the moisture that were initially closed "out of an abundance of caution" were "deemed safe to reopen" after extensive searches and air quality testing, according to the news release.
