The Center for Health Design is completing a three-year grant project to develop a proactive risk assessment tool for facility design, according to an article on the Behavioral Healthcare website. The Safety Risk Assessment Toolkit includes a behavioral health module as well as sections on patient handling, falls, security, hospital acquired infections and medication safety.
