SCL Health reached a milestone in its integration with Intermountain Health, unveiling the first medical facility sign in Colorado bearing the system’s new brand and name.

Over the next several months, dark blue signs with Intermountain Health’s coral and fuchsia logo will appear at eight hospitals and more than 40 clinics in Colorado and Montana.

Anne Robertson, vice president of brand and sponsorship for Intermountain Health, said the brand and names reflect an organization that offers comprehensive healthcare services.

The dark blue of the signage honors the organizations’ legacy as well-respected health partners to its patients. The combination of coral and fuchsia in the logo is inspired by the natural surroundings of the western United States where Intermountain operates.

Mark Korth, president of Intermountain Health’s Peaks Region covering Colorado and Montana, noted that as the needs of patients and the community changed, the two healthcare organizations were able to come together and evolve with those changes to become more accessible, reduce healthcare costs and deliver better experiences.

SCL Health and Intermountain Healthcare announced their plans to merge in April 2022. Intermountain Health has a total of 33 hospitals and 385 clinics.

As new signage is installed at each care site, they will introduce new names:

  • Good Samaritan Medical Center, Lafayette, Colo., becomes Intermountain Health Good Samaritan Hospital on the Good Samaritan Medical Campus
  • Lutheran Medical Center, Wheat Ridge, Colo., becomes Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital
  • Platte Valley Medical Center, Brighton, Colo., becomes Intermountain Health Platte Valley Hospital on the Platte Valley Medical Campus
  • Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver, becomes Intermountain Health Saint Joseph Hospital
