Seneca Healthcare District announced the official name for their new hospital: Lake Almanor Community Hospital. This name was approved by the District Board during last month’s meeting.

The name Lake Almanor Community Hospital was chosen to better align with the District’s strategic goals. The District is planning to restructure marketing and outreach efforts to cohesively incorporate both the Lake Almanor Clinic and the new Community Hospital. A recent strategic assessment highlighted the need for a name that better defines and connects all the communities served throughout the Lake Almanor Basin.

With this new name, the Seneca Healthcare District, which includes the Lake Almanor Clinic, Almanor Physical Therapy, and the upcoming Lake Almanor Community Hospital, will continue to operate under the District’s umbrella. The Seneca Healthcare District name and logo will still be part of their brand identity.
