There were at least seven healthcare facility projects in June, valued at $300 million or more, that either completed construction or made progress in their planning stages, according to an article on the Construction Dive website.
Construction Dive quoted an article on the Becker's Hospital Review website that listed the six projects that are in planning stages.
They are: The $1 billion program of capital improvements made by Atrium Health; the $1.5 billion Children's Healthcare of Atlanta campus; an $800 million Essentia Health campus in Minnesota; a $534 million Beth Israel inpatient facility in Boston; a $500 million, three-year plan to expand TriStar Health facilities in Tennessee and a $30 million expansion of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.
The one project currently under construction is Indiana University Health's $400 million, 735,000-square-foot Regional Academic Health Center.
