Sinai Hospital increases security after Baltimore campus employees targeted

Hospital recently upgraded lighting in parking lots and installed additional security cameras


Sinai Hospital has taken additional measures to improve safety at the Northwest Baltimore campus after three employees were attacked, according to an article on the Baltimore Sun website.

The hospital recently upgraded lighting in parking lots and installed additional security cameras and emergency blue light phones, as part of an ongoing plan to improve campus safety.

Sinai has also added additional security shifts and officers to monitor parking lots and garages as well as patrol the campus.

The latest incident occurred the day after Thanksgiving, when a suspect attempted to rob a hospital employee on Sinai’s campus.
