Over the last several months, the Jackson County Board of Supervisors worked with Raymond James, a third-party healthcare-focused advisory firm, to conduct an extensive RFP process to identify a buyer for Singing River Health System. The Board of Supervisors (BOS) announces they have selected the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS), a healthcare innovator in Louisiana and Mississippi.
FMOLHS is committed to ensuring Singing River Health System patients continue to receive high-quality, accessible care. They also believe in keeping care local, investing in the community and investing in its people.
This announcement marks the beginning of the next phase in the process to reach a final agreement, which the BOS expects to finalize with FMOLHS by this fall.
