Southpoint Surgery Center selects ProVation Medical Software for electronic health records


MINNEAPOLIS- Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading global provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, announced today that Southpoint Surgery Center has selected its ProVation® MD software for gastroenterology procedure documentation and coding and its ProVation® MultiCaregiver as its electronic health record (EHR) and patient charting solution.

Located in Jacksonville, Fla., Southpoint Surgery Center has been designed to accommodate a wide array of procedures from cataract removal to orthopedic surgeries. The state-of-the-art outpatient center features four operating rooms, one treatment room, eight pre-operative preparation areas, 11 recovery areas, a dedicated laser room, two exam rooms for the doctors on-site, as well as surgical support services and a dedicated sterile processing area.
