Survey names 10 cleanest Dallas hospitals

Facilities chosen from Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey data


A recent Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey data published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services resulted in a list of the 10 cleanest hospitals in Dallas, according to an article on the Becker's Hospital Review website.

Thirty-nine hospitals were surveyed and the top five with the cleanest rooms and bathrooms were:

1. North Central Surgical Center — 91 percent of patients reported their room and bathroom were "always" clean

2. Texas Institute for Surgery at Presbyterian Hospital — 88 percent

3. Baylor Surgical Hospital at Las Colinas — 88 percent

4. USMD Hospital at Arlington — 88 percent

5. Baylor Medical Center at Uptown — 86 percent

The Texas average of patients who reported that their room and bathroom were "always" clean is 75 percent, while the national average is 73 percent.
