TOMI simultaneously exhibited its patented infectious disease control products at major conferences on both coasts

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., - TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc., a global bacteria decontamination and infectious disease control company, showcased its SteraMist System both at IDWeek, the combined annual meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA), and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS) in San Francisco, California from Oct. 2-6, 2013 and at the 2013 Annual Meeting of American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) at National Harbor, Maryland from Oct. 1-5, 2013.

Dr. Halden Shane, TOMI's Chief Executive Officer, stated "We are excited to be exhibiting this week in San Francisco at IDWeek, the combined annual meeting of the IDSA, SHEA, HIVMA and PIDS. This annual meeting brings together more than 5,500 professional attendees from more than 80 countries. These two different venues, on both U.S. coasts, have one thing in common: the need for a proven time-tested technology to assist in the control of today's emerging infectious diseases.

IDWeek's website notes that this year's theme was "Advancing Science, Improving Care." IDWeek featured the latest science and bench-to-bedside approaches in prevention, diagnosis, treatment and epidemiology of infectious diseases. SteraMist/BIT(TM)'s (Binary Ionization Technology(R)) is an innovative, patented no-touch technology, which utilizes an activated aerosolized hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to effectively address bio-decontamination situations, on all microorganisms.

In addition to exhibiting at IDWeek last week, TOMI also exhibited its technology at AATB Annual Meeting, at National Harbor, Maryland. Currently, TOMI's novel SteraMist(TM) technology, powered by BIT (Binary Ionization Technology(R)), is being used in various tissue banks across the country in conjunction with their overall goal to help safeguard the environment at these tissues banks.

Mark Futrovsky, TOMI's President, stated, "TOMI is pleased to be a part of the AATB Annual Meeting. We all probably know someone whose life has been positively changed though the gift of donated cells or tissues, and are very cognizant of the AATB's safety concerns." As noted on their website, the AATB is the only national tissue banking organization in the United States and its membership totals more than 100 accredited tissue banks and 1,000 individual members. These banks recover tissue from more than 30,000 donors and distribute in excess of two million allografts for more than one million tissue transplants performed annually in the U.S.
