The Southwest Alliance for Excellence Honored Nathan Adelson Hospice with an Achievement Award for Excellence

The Southwest Alliance for Excellence (SWAE), announced Nathan Adelson Hospice as one of their recipients of the 2019 Performance Excellence Program. The annual Performance Excellence Program recognizes organizations for excellence in quality, performance, and outcomes.  The program, modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, provides not only an opportunity for recognition, but also valuable feedback on where an organization is positioned on the quality continuum.

“We are truly honored to represent Nevada and receive this recognition from Southwest Alliance for Excellence,”said Karen Rubel, President and CEO of Nathan Adelson Hospice. “We pride ourselves on our quality of care and pledge to continue to forge ahead on the journey of excellence.”

SWAE advances improvement and excellence in organizations, communities and individuals throughout Arizona, Nevada and Utah. The Achievement Award honors organizations that demonstrate effective, systematic approaches, where key processes are beginning to be systematically evaluated and improved. Awards will be presented at a banquet to be held in Mesa, AZ on February 19, 2020.

“SWAE is proud to continue empowering organizations to pursue performance excellence, improve outcomes and contribute to the economic strength of their community and state. This evaluation process and feedback is one of the best methodologies available to develop a higher level of organizational performance,” said Karen Shepard, Executive Director of the Southwest Alliance for Excellence.”
