The Stafford (Avamere) Earns Perfect Score for Quality Care and Safety

The Stafford, an assisted and independent living community, earned their fourth consecutive deficiency-free survey, the highest score possible. The Stafford is part of the Avamere Family of Companies.

The survey is an on-site inspection conducted by the Department of Human Services based on guidelines outlined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. It examines resident quality of care and quality of life, dietary services, fire safety,
and environmental services. The examination includes interviews with residents, residents’ family members, and Stafford employees. They also evaluate training records and electronic charts.T

he Stafford Executive Director Ceci Fields believes their success stems from her team’s desire to provide the highest quality of comfort and care to their residents.“We do our best every day to ensure The Stafford is the premier choice for seniors in Lake Oswego,” Fields said. The Stafford’s survey results align with Avamere’s Quality Improvement Priority, one of the six priorities at the company’s focus.
