The Healthcare Construction + Operations website named three healthcare facilities as standouts for the year.

The Humber River Hospital which opened in October is first the fully digital hospital in North America. The facility features a fully digital management system that counts, organizes and checks the expiration date on all of the drugs at the hospital.

HCA StoneSprings Hospital in Dulles, Va., opened in December. Its design focused on the elimination of wasted or inefficient space.

The newly completed Clinical Sciences Pavilion at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital opened in June. The 15-story, 445,000-square-foot research tower increased the dedicated research space to more than 1.4 million square feet.
