The Energy Center of Wisconsin, as part of their Energy Center University, will offer the program, “Efficient facility lighting for energy savings and productivity,” June 4 in Fond du Lac, Wis., and June 5 in Madison, Wis.
The strengths and limitations of fluorescents, LEDs, induction, ceramic metal halide and vacancy and photocell sensors will be explored, as well as high bay lighting applications. These technologies will be evaluated in various situations within manufacturing, office, warehouse and healthcare facilities. Common area, safety, emergency and exterior lighting will also be discussed.
The full-day training program will go from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the $49 registration fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
Energy Center University is an authorized provider for continuing education credits with a number of professional organizations. The training will be worth 7 CEUs with most organizations.
