Tyco Security Products introduces new all-in-one video recorder with integrated PoE+ camera ports

Tyco Security Products introduces the new exacqVision LC-Series Una all-in-one video recorder for faster, more efficient video security installation and service.

The exacqVision LC-Series Una recorder includes exacqVision video management system (VMS) software, server and integrated PoE+ camera ports. Users can connect up to 16 cameras per recorder and store up to 12 TB of video per system. The high output power supply provides up to 25 watts per camera and a maximum of 100 watts per 8 cameras and 200 watts per 16 cameras. Pre-loaded with exacqVision software for every IP camera port, Una recorders come with up to 16 exacqVision Start VMS software IP camera licenses. Users can view and administrate live and recorded video directly from the recorder using the included exacqVision client or remotely using a web browser or exacqVision client on a separate computer. The freely distributed client software can be installed on Windows, Linux or Mac systems.

Designed for easy installation, the LC-Series Una utilizes exacqVision EasyConnect to find, address and connect Illustra, Axis and Arecont Vision IP cameras to their network automatically and self-configure for motion-based recording. Therefore, users can easily plug in their IP cameras and start recording, significantly reducing installation time and labor. To further simplify maintenance, the LC-Series Una recorder enables users to remotely monitor and control power to individual cameras with no separate switch management software required.

“The new exacqVision Una recorder is the easiest IP video recorder to quote, install and service remotely managed power IP camera ports,” said Scott Dennison, Director of Marketing, Exacq Technologies. “The addition of this recorder product line gives our sales team a faster, more cost-effective way to support video security installations by remotely managing camera ports.”

The LC-Series Una is scalable with the entire line of exacqVision servers and software. Each LC-Series Una recorder includes a three-year hardware warranty and three years of free software updates.
