VISTAMATIC supplies privacy glass solutions to Jupiter Medical Center's new De George world-class pediatric unit

VISTAMATIC, the pioneer in integral shading and privacy solutions, is delighted to announce the opening of Jupiter Medical Center’s new De George world-class pediatric unit in which VISTMATIC supplied Vista-Max privacy glass solutions and Vista-Max XL full door solutions.

The De George Pediatric Unit features 12 inpatient rooms, two state-of-the-art pediatric surgery suites, pediatric therapeutic services, a children’s playroom, and a room for resting called the “Bear’s Den,” a name inspired by Jack Nicklaus, who is widely known as the “Golden Bear.”  A Child Life Specialist is also on-site to help children cope with the stress of their hospital stay.  Patients benefit from the collaboration of local pediatricians, the Medical Center and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, who worked together to implement the highest quality clinical protocols.

“We are extremely proud to be part of this prestigious project. This partnership was very special to us as the hospital is local and some of our employees and clients actually use the current facility. All parties involved in this process collaborated closely to make this project proceed in a highly effective and efficient manner all the way to the grand opening,” said Kevin Roth, chief executive officer and managing partner of VISTAMATIC.

VISTAMATIC vision panels are renowned for simplicity, durability and refined aesthetics. The panels consist of three sheets of glass set within an insulated unit, which are operated using VISTAMATIC’S propriety lever mechanism.  When the lever is turned, the inner sheet of glass rises to enable observation and, by turning the handle back, vision is obscured. All panels come with a lifetime warranty. The VISTAMATIC Max enhances observation with an enlarged viewing perspective that more than doubles the vista of the standard panel. VISTAMATIC Max-XL is designed to offer a maximum length and vision for any door requiring a full-length panel, dispensing the need to install two individual panels vertically into a door blank.
