Cincinnati's Children’s Hospital is using video games for safety training, according to an article and video on the WLWT website.
Facility staff will be trained using goggles that allow them to see the computer-generated facility 360 degrees around them.
They’ll answer questions, learn escape routes and virtually pick up items needed in the evacuation.
The video training is one component of an overall plan. There is a training video and an actual drill where staff will perform a mock evacuation of a unit.
