Vitera Healthcare Solutions releases Vitera Medical Manager EHR

TAMPA, Fla.—Vitera Healthcare Solutions, the nation’s premier provider of ambulatory electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software and services, today announced the release of Vitera Medical Manager EHR — a Web-based EHR, analytics and clinical transaction platform designed specifically for current Vitera customers.

Vitera customers who use Vitera Medical Manager — the industry’s original practice management solution and one of the most trusted, efficient tools in the market today — can easily integrate Vitera Medical Manager EHR for enhanced practice performance, optimized revenue and improved patient outcomes.

Vitera Medical Manager EHR joins Vitera’s two other certified Meaningful Use EHR products, Vitera Intergy and Vitera Stat, as a fully certified Meaningful Use solution that physicians can use to attest and qualify for thousands of dollars of incentive payments. To date, Vitera has helped more than 4,100 eligible medical professionals secure over $91 million in Meaningful Use incentive payments.

“For decades, office-based physicians have entrusted their practices to Vitera Medical Manager,” said Matthew Hawkins, CEO of Vitera. “We remain committed to supporting customers using our tools that they know and love, while also making available innovative, cost-effective solutions that address the regulatory and financial pressures physicians face now and in the future.”

A comprehensive cloud-based system that integrates EHR with practice management, analytics and electronic data interchange, Vitera Medical Manager EHR is ideal for practices with limited IT resources. It’s easy to use and comes pre-configured with specialty-specific content so physicians can focus less on learning the product and more on improving patient care.

“I love Medical Manager, it’s very user friendly,” said Lynn Dupree, Office Manager for Morris Hanan, MD, a Vitera Medical Manager EHR customer. “We’ve now pushed all of our data to the Web, making it a lot easier for us. And with all the changes being made by Medicare, having an EHR is now something we’re finding we need. We’re looking forward to having an EHR as part of our Medical Manager software.”

Also available are Vitera Intergy EHR, for larger and multispecialty practices, and Vitera Stat, for smaller practices. Both are comprehensive Meaningful Use certified EHR solutions that manage all clinical and financial outcomes, improve coding accuracy, better engage patients and their families, and enable e-prescribing for practice efficiency and increased patient safety.
