WHO says there’s a second outbreak of Ebola in Congo

Country already battling COVID-19 and measles


The World Health OrganizationHealth (WHO) is reporting that officials have confirmed a second Ebola outbreak in Congo, according to an article on the NBC News website.

The country is already battling COVID-19 and the world's largest measles outbreak.

Congolese health authorities have identified six cases in the north near Mbandaka in Equateur province, including four fatalities.

This is the second time Ebola has hit the Equateur province in as many years: A 2018 outbreak there killed 33 people
