Walter Reed National Military MedicalCenter (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, Md., has undertaken a renovation with a comprehensive LED retrofit, according to an article on the Business Insider website.
The project may stand as the largest LED lighting retrofit for a hospital.
With over 50 percent energy savings and more than $1,000,000 in LED products for this LED lighting retrofit, $300,000 in annual savings is projected.
Over the 10-year warranty of the technology, WRNMMC is expected to save more than $3 million.
