Water leak postpones surgeries at an Okla. hospital

The water had to be shut off at AllianceHealth Midwest City


A water leak at AllianceHealth Midwest  in Midwest City, Okla. forced the 255-bed hospital to reschedule surgeries, according to an article on the KFOR website.
 
The water was turned off overnight while crews identified the source of the leak and made repairs After the water was restored to the building the hospital conducted water quality testing.
 
The hospital gave bottled water to patients and staff, officials said.
 
The leak's location caused the hospital to reschedule all outpatient mammography procedures for the rest of the week and reschedule several surgeries. All other patient care areas are active, according to the hospital.
