WeiserMazars expands healthcare practice, names principal Debra Bornstein practice leader


Today, leading tax, audit, accounting and advisory firm WeiserMazars LLP announced that as part of its ongoing national expansion of the Health Care Practice it has named Principal Debra Bornstein as the new leader of the Health Care Practice replacing Ken Fischer.

Debra has more than 20 years’ experience in health care and was a pioneer in establishing risk/value based contracting in the New York Metropolitan area. She has a diverse set of skills serving both providers and payors, with an expertise in managed care contracting, strategic planning, medical cost trending and operational transaction management.

Prior to joining WeiserMazars, Debra was the Chief Operating Officer of Creative Health Concepts; a Market Head at Aetna; Vice President of Medical Delivery Systems at MagnaCare; Vice President of Health Services at United Healthcare and; Director, Medical Delivery at Oxford Health Plans.
