The cladding on Singleton Hospital in Swansea will be removed and inspected as a precaution


The cladding on Singleton Hospital in Swansea, Wales, will be checked in the wake of the recent deadly Grenfell Tower fire in north London, according to an article on the BBC website.

Abertawe Bro Morgannwg health board said a section of the cladding on Singleton Hospital in Swansea will be removed and inspected as a precaution.

However, the cladding material used in the Grenfell Tower was "not used" at Singleton Hospital, a health board said.

Meanwhile, the board said it had "undertaken an urgent review of all our buildings with cladding as part of our estates fire risk assessment."
