Wiegmann Introduces Mod Center for Faster Service

Wiegmann has introduced the new Mod Center. This new CNC machining center modifies electrical enclosures faster than previous customizing methods. Wiegmann, part of Hubbell Commercial Construction, provides innovative electrical products to OEM, industrial and commercial markets.

Weigmann's new machining center utilizes computer-controlled equipment to drill, tap and mill complete enclosures, doors and panels. Working from 3D models to guide the modifications provides accuracy and speed. For in-stock products, the Mod Center reduces lead time to just 3-5 days.

All in-stock and standard Wiegmann carbon steel, stainless steel and nonmetallic enclosures are available for modification. The Mod Center can work on enclosures as small as 6" x 6" x 4". The maximum back panel size that can be accommodated is 90" x 61".  All sides can be machined as long as the height is under 60".

The new Mod Center especially provides faster turnaround for custom modifications of NEMA rated enclosures:
  • NEMA 1/3R
  • NEMA 12
  • NEMA 4/4X

  • The WiegmannMod Center modification service is available now. Customers should contact their sales rep for pricing and ordering details. Find more information at www.hubbell.com
