Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) announced that it has acquired PhysicianOne Urgent Care. YNHHS has had a successful clinical affiliation with PhysicianOne for the past six years that helped provide their patients with access to high-quality primary care providers and specialists in the area.
This acquisition accelerates access to high quality, convenient and affordable care across the region and bolsters the comprehensive range of health services that YNHHS already offers, including the existing urgent care centers in Fairfield and Milford, NEMG walk-ins across Connecticut and orthopedic walk-in centers in North Haven and Stamford.
The State of Connecticut Department of Public Health approved the change in ownership of PhysicianOne to YNHHS in August.
