Pokémon exposes vulnerabilities at healthcare facilities

A healthcare facility may have entrances that are not regularly monitored or guarded

Pokémon GO can expose the vulnerabilities, poor design and general flaws of a healthcare facility, according to an article on the Forbes website.

A healthcare facility may have entrances that are not monitored or guarded. It may be too easy for visitors to access patient information or medical equipment.

Employees may be discussing private patient information in public areas. The healthcare facility may not be keeping its premises clean and free from contamination.

If a healthcare facility cannot handle Pokémon GO, then perhaps it’s time to examine more closely its facility design, operations and management to determine what changes are needed, the article said.
