Blog on Healthcare Design says retailers like CVS are 'throwing down the gauntlet' in competition for healthcare dollars


The delivery of healthcare products and services has become enormously competitive, according to a Healthcare Design magazine blog by Rosalyn Cama of interior design firm Cama Inc. Retailers like CVS are "throwing down the gauntlet" in competition for healthcare dollars. 

Healthcare architecture, design and facilities consultants should take note, Cama wrote: "We've all been trained to design for patient-centered clinical services, but consumer-based retail services will add a layer of competition not typically experienced in healthcare design."
