Stevens Industries, Inc. acquires the rights to produce Techline USA branded products.


Teutopolis, IL - Stevens Industries, Inc., one of the largest manufacturers of commercial cabinetry in North America, has purchased the rights to produce Techline USA branded products. The ownership of Techline USA announced on April 9, 2014, that their manufacturing facility in Waunakee, WI will be closing on June 9, 2014. Stevens Industries will step in to maintain the customer base, fulfill the high expectations of the consumer and meet existing project commitments. 

Stevens Industries has been working with Techline for over 13 years as a supplier of raw materials and is working with Techline management to provide a seamless transition to manufacturing the Techline product. The collaboration will ensure that the products continue to be produced to the same high-quality standards expected of the Techline brand. 

“Stevens Industries is excited to be the trusted facility to produce Techline product. Techline has provided a reliable product for customers and we intend to build the product brand and grow the product line,” reported Todd Wegman, President of Stevens Industries, Inc. “We have been a supplier to Techline for years and feel confident this strategy will develop growth of the brand, while providing stellar service,” continued Mr. Wegman. 

Existing and new customers will be serviced from a new Techline headquarters based in the Madison, WI area. The new Techline headquarters will continue to provide sales, estimating, drafting, and project management support. Using Stevens Industries production facility as the manufacturing operation will also provide the Techline USA product with a highly automated, lean manufactured, high quality-focused process. In addition to the Techline product, an expanded product line from Stevens Industries will become available to the Techline customers and dealers.
