Viega Director of Business Development, Joe Pikus, to Serve Government, Healthcare and Hotel Industries

Viega LLC expanded the role of Joe Pikus, director of business development. Pikus is now responsible for growing business development in the government, healthcare and hotel segments, as well as overseeing OEM accounts.

Pikus joined Viega in 2003 as the district manager for northern Ohio. He began working in national accounts in 2006 before being promoted to territory director in 2008. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Pikus held a master plumber license and worked as a plumber for 10 years. He also held product and sales manager positions at plumbing and plumbing manufacturing companies before joining Viega.

“Joe’s expansive knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry, coupled with his many years of selling in various industries, makes him well qualified for this expanded role with Viega,” said Robert Gottermeier, vice president of business development at Viega. “We believe his experience with major mechanical contractors across the country makes working with the government, healthcare and hotel market segments a natural fit.”

Pikus currently lives in Broadview Heights, Ohio. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University.
