383 Sodexo food service workers losing jobs at Cleveland Clinic
The affected jobs include 215 food service workers, 25 cooks, 31 supervisors, and a variety of other positions
More than 380 Sodexo food service employees at The Cleveland Clinic will lose their jobs as of June 30, according to an article on the Cleveland.com website.
The affected jobs include 215 food service workers, 25 cooks, 31 supervisors and a variety of other positions, according to a recently filed federal notice.
Sodexo received word from the Clinic about the change April 22, according to the notice.
The Clinic switched to Sodexo for food services on its main campus in 2015, after about two years of contracting with Philadelphia-based Aramark Corp. Prior to that, the hospital system had worked with Sodexo and two other food-service companies — Warren-based AVI and Morrison, the article said.
