The first step is acquiring the funding. Strengthen your case by speaking with the infection control department to gather information on the annual expense of healthcare acquired infections.

Then invite at least two UV technology companies to the facility to discuss and review the effectiveness of their equipment.

And be sure that after the equipment has been selected, you have a training program in place.
