Becker's Hospital Review lists 100 great hospitals in U.S.

Hospitals are included based on analysis of several ranking and award agencies


Becker's Hospital Review recently release the 2017 edition of its list of "100 great hospitals in America."

Hospitals are included based on analysis of several ranking and award agencies, including U.S. News and World Report's 2016-17 Honor Roll and specialty rankings, CMS star ratings, Leapfrog grades, Truven Health Analytics top hospitals, Most Wired hospitals and Magnet accreditation, according to an article on the Becker's website.

Healthcare facilities on the alphabetic list include Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis and Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix.

Also on the list are Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif., Mercy Hospital in Chicago and UW Health-University Hospital in Madison, Wis.
