FARMINGTON, Conn. – Carrier introduced the latest release of the i-Vu® Web-based BACnet® building automation system, which now offers full support for both Carrier Comfort Network® (CCN) and Carrier i-Vu Open (BACnet) systems.

This new version of i-Vu allows customers to keep their existing CCN investmentwhile expanding their control system with Carrier’s i-Vu Open (BACnet) controls nowor in the future. Carrier, the world’s leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit ofUnited Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Once i-Vu combines with the CCN or BACnet system, customers can manage their entire Carrier control system through a single i-Vu user interface. This allows them to:

or CCN controls;

• View and control their building from anywhere in the world using a standard

Web browser on desktops and tablets;

• Graphically configure and view schedules, set points, trends, alarms and

reports; and
