HOSPECO’s New AirWorks Splash Free Urinal Screen Eliminates Splash, Lasts Longer

Splash around urinals is an unsightly, unsanitary problem. Worse is splash to a urinal user’s pants. Yet ordinary screens don’t do much to control splash, much less prevent it. HOSPECO’s new AirWorks® Splash Free urinal screen was designed to better control and even eliminate splashing.

A huge step ahead of the usual plain plastic or wire screening, the unique design features dozens of rows of proprietary micro-tubes enmeshed in the back of the screen that direct liquid downward and completely prevent splash. AirWorks Splash Free is made of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) combined with enzymes that inhibit malodors.

Splash Free also manages odor in a more cost-effective and environmentally pleasant manner than the typical screen. A steady, low-level scent — available in 10 fragrances — is pleasing to guests without a heavy bombardment of fragrance that permeates the washroom. Further, Splash Free’s patented micro-tube technology is heat activated to allow more of the pleasant scent to be delivered when in contact with a urine stream. Because the used-only-when-needed scent lasts longer, AirWorks Splash Free can be replaced less frequently than other screens, saving both time and money.

Splash Free is part of HOSPECO’s full line of AirWorks line of VOC-compliant urinal screens for use in wet or dry urinals. The screens are flexible enough to fit all urinals.
